Yonit Kosovske

Yonit Kosovske performs as a soloist and collaborative musician on harpsichord and piano. Highlights among her recent projects include the film TRIPLE SPIRAL (2023), featuring Justin Grounds’ new composition for baroque trio and contemporary dance. In 2022 Yonit premiered her film ROCKING, bridging early music and contemporary dance. In 2020 Yonit commissioned WATERSHED, a song-cycle by Ailís Ní Ríain on poetry by Jessica Brown, and in collaboration with contralto Julie Comparini. Yonit is co-producer of the Limerick Early Music Festival and of H.I.P.S.T.E.R. (Historically Informed Performance Series, Teaching, Education, and Research), and is artistic director of WAVE~LINKS, a video series exploring connections between music-making and artisanry. Yonit is Associate Professor in Music at the Irish World Academy of Music and Dance. She collaborates regularly with flutist Teddie Hwang, including at the 2022 premiere of their concert programme DISCOVERING LIGHT at the Galway Early Music Festival.
