


Marina Mulligan
Marina Mulligan is a conservation biologist with interests in biodiversity conservation, habitat management and public engagement. She has worked on multiple government and NGO projects internationally and has a passion for innovation within science communication and research. She is a graduate of Zoology in U.C.C. and holds a Masters in Conservation and Biodiversity from the University of Exeter. Marina has worked with NPWS, Science Foundation Ireland, Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique, Borneo Nature Foundation and BirdWatch Ireland, amongst others.
Some recent projects have explored STEAM engagement in schools, protected areas management, endangered species research and development of projects intersecting science and the arts. A keen communicator, she aims to bring accurate scientific information to everyone in an open, accessible and interactive way.
After all, we are just one species living in the multitude of ecosystems on this tiny pale blue dot.
