Dr. Christian Ginski is a lecturer at the School of Natural Sciences at the University of Galway. His research focuses on observations with optical and near-infrared telescopes to detect planets and planet-forming dust disks around young stars. He obtained my PhD in astrophysics at the University of Jena in Germany and worked for a long time at the Universities of Leiden and Amsterdam in the Netherlands before joining the University of Galway at the beginning of 2023.
