Declan is a physicist and a science communicator with a passion for teaching, research and using the latest technology to enhance education.
He set up Science Ireland in 2001 to develop interactive shows and delivers these shows to over 20,000 students per year. He has a rocket workshop, a space show and a show on the solutions to climate change.
He is developing a program to teach students the science and maths of how human will get to Mars. This program was originally developed as a STEM module for transition years students in Ireland but has now expanded to an online science experience for students.
