Well, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves last weekend and we hope that those of you who made it to our festival also had lots of fun! Each year we aim to deliver a world class festival, so your feedback is critical. We would really appreciate you taking the time to complete our feedback survey (link below and on home page). To encourage you to do so, we have teamed up once again with Ktec Telescopes, and will randomly select one winner from all surveys returned by 6pm Sunday 18

Rocket Launch
Rocket Launch 2pm at Ballycroy Community Pitch...
We are keeping a close eye on the weather conditions. As these rockets launch to about 200 feet, and require air traffic control clearance, they cannot be launched in high winds. Fingers crossed it stays calm! #news

For anyone going to the Solar Walk today here are the directions to BELLACRAGHER BOAT CLUB...
Follow N59 through Mulranny north towards Ballycroy, past the Claggan Mountain Boardwalk and take the LEFT turn 2km after the Boardwalk (signposted Dromgollagh) and follow the signs for Bellacragher Boat Club.

Weather Alert
We have an amazing weekend of events lined up for you at the Mayo Dark Sky Festival, but sadly the weather is not one of them! Your safety is our primary concern, and with yellow weather warnings for Atlantic coastal areas on FRIDAY, we have no choice but to CANCEL Friday evening's torchlit walk and stargazing session at Burrishoole Abbey. As an alternative, we will doing some FREE INDOOR STARGAZING (!) in Hotel Newport from 9:30pm with Newport Astronomy Club - everyone welco
