Online booking for all talks and workshops closed at 9pm this evening. It will still be possible to attend most talks in Newport, Mulranny and Ballycroy as we did not make all seats available online, so come along to any talks you wish to attend and we will do our very best to accommodate you! The exception is the Gala Dinner for which we simply cannot accept bookings at the door as we have to give final numbers to the hotel on Friday morning, so we are keeping that event ope

One of the highlights of last year's festival was the parent and child model rocket workshop by Eric Stenzel of the Irish Rocketry Society - so much so that we had to invite him back again this year! This year's workshop takes place in Ballycroy Community Centre. For just €20 (this cover both adult and child) you will learn how rockets work, and together will build a model rocket that will then be launched at 2pm at the nearby community pitch. #Family

We had a fantastic 278 entries from primary schools all over Mayo to our Art Competition, which was organised in partnership with Dr. Norah Patten. Pupils were asked to design a mission patch for Norah's upcoming Project PoSSUM Scientist-Astronaut Program.
As well as having their design made into an official mission patch, the winning child's entire class will be treated to a free Planet Zebunar Workshop by Dr. Norah Patten!
