A Good Start is Half the Job!

What a magical evening we had tonight in Ballycroy at our festival launch!. Over 100 people got to experience the most beautiful music played by Julie Langan on fiddle and Laoise Kelly on harp, lots of banter and stories galore. Visitors had travelled from far and wide to enjoy the hospitality, entertainment, food - all topped off with a lovely guided dark sky walk.

Huge thanks to musicians Julie and Laoise, to our festival's live illustrator Rae, to Ann and her team from Nevins who provided the food, to Michael Chambers and his fabulous team at the Visitor Centre (and a special thanks to Michael for his unplanned, unrehearsed Irish dancing!). Thanks also to Barretts for their invaluable shuttle bus service, and of course to everyone who came along for our weekend launch event
