CERN senior researcher joins the line-up!
We are absolutely delighted to add a new name to our list of world-class speakers at the Mayo Dark Sky Festival 27-29 October... Dr. Luis Roberto Flores Castillo is a distinguished researcher who has participated in the ATLAS (A Toroidal LHC Apparatus) experiment with CERN in Switzerland. He is also recognised for his participation in the discovery of the Higgs Boson, often called the “God particle”. In 2012 he was acknowledged with the Top Research Prize by the Mexican Society of Physics. His research interests include the measurement of the properties of the Higgs Boson, researches in dark matter particles as well as researches in new high-mass particles.
